The Power of Breath

The breathing technique is the first and easiest thing to bring from the yoga mat into daily life. If you have practiced in a yoga class and experienced the positive effects of controlled and guided breathing on your body and mind, you can use these same techniques in everyday situations to instantly improve your well-being.

Breathing techniques help us relieve stress and reduce anxiety. Doing breathing exercises before bed helps you fall asleep faster. Increasing the oxygen level in the body and reducing carbon dioxide helps us to be more alert and positive. Breathing helps create balance and peace.

It is good if the clothes we wear are loose enough to give us freedom and space to breathe. The body wants to feel air around it. Our belly should be able to move comfortably and freely in and out during deep breathing, without feeling excessive tightness at the waist. Therefore, comfortable, loose-fitting clothes are supportive both in yoga classes and in daily life.
