The series of exercises, or Kriyas, in Kundalini Yoga are very different. Varying from very active and vigorous, to calm and static. Active exercises help remove congestion and stagnation, awakening the body and soul. Our glandular, lymphatic and circulatory systems are stimulated and rejuvenated.
In the following exercise, you may find yourself sitting quietly, relaxing into your breathing patterns, and listening to your inner sound and rhythm. Calm hand positions (mudras) and repetitive sounds (mantras) help calm the mind and increase concentration. With a single kriya, it is possible to achieve complete spiritual, physical, and mental balance.
You can read more about Kundalini yoga in more detail on the international Kundalini yoga website 3HO.
Yogaexpert clothing has enough space and freedom for more vigorous Kundalini yoga practices. Looser clothing also supports longer, more static meditations. Leaving space and air gaps to support the body’s normal and necessary circulation. We have also taken into account our Nordic, often chilly mornings, and the need for sufficient clothing protection for peaceful relaxation.
Feel good. Inside and outside.
